Introducing CCI Giving's directors

Get to know our directors:

CCI Giving is overseen by a corporate Trustee governed by three directors, with assistance from Australian Philanthropic Services.

Reverend Dr Philip Marshall PhD

Rev Dr Philip Marshall is Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia of the Adelaide Archdiocese. After studying at The University of Adelaide University, and working in the community welfare area Fr Marshall joined the St Francis Xavier Seminary at Rostrevor. Following his ordination, Fr Marshall served in several parishes, including Hectorville, where he has played a significant role in establishing the Catholic Community. A central component of Fr Marshall’s leadership of Renewal in the Archdiocese of Adelaide has been to highlight for parishes and communities the need for them to be communities of outreach and care for all, and for them to reflect on the commitment of time, resources and human energy dedicated to support for community, particularly those in need.  A key theme of Fr Marshall’s Doctoral  Thesis is the necessity for church communities at every level to make community care and development a central part of their pastoral planning and action.
Fr Marshall recognises the intrinsic links between giving back and the Church, and the involvement of the whole community in the life of the Church. It is this community commitment that underscores his appointment to the CCI Giving Board of Trustees.
Fr Marshall holds a Doctor of Philosophy and sits on the CCI Board of Directors.
