About CCI Giving
CCI Giving is a new kind of foundation for the Australian Catholic community from Catholic Church Insurance (CCI).
Building on the shared knowledge and spirit that comes from over 100 years of insuring Catholic organisations, and a strong history of giving back to the Catholic community, CCI Giving is CCI's latest way of extending support to make a difference in the Australian community.
Through small and large grants, we’re helping Catholic organisations and others carrying out Catholic mission in Australia to make a positive impact.

Our mission and objectives
CCI Giving is committed to supporting grassroots initiatives across Australia’s Catholic community, and communities with a shared ethos, that empower the most vulnerable.
We seek out opportunities to address tangible, concrete needs through a mix of employee engagement activities and targeted philanthropic grants that fund into the gaps and invest in social enterprise to empower and scale local solutions.
CCI Giving builds on a longstanding history of ‘giving back’ to the community, and is inspired by the centuries-old Catholic tradition of compassion in action to support the most marginalised and under-served in our community.
Small grants program
The small grants program assists Catholic organisations and others carrying out Catholic mission anywhere in Australia to respond to current and emerging needs in local communities. Grants of up to $5,000 are available to support events or projects, and up to $10,000 to support small capital works initiatives with a clear community benefit.
Full program details, including selection criteria, is available on the Small Grants Program page. Please sign up to the CCI Giving newsletter to be notified. Impact grants program
CCI Giving’s impact grants are designed to make a significant, scalable difference in the Catholic community and beyond, through a strategic national investment in mental health. To effect real change, CCI Giving enters into longer-term partnerships of up to five years with organisations that are uniquely positioned to overcome social disadvantage in marginalised communities, particularly in rural, regional and remote Australia.
CCI Giving’s inaugural impact partner is the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR), for the ‘In a Good Place’ program. This national grantmaking program, in operation since July 2018 , supports community-driven initiatives that reduce social isolation, increase social participation and connectedness, and increase help-seeking for people within rural, regional and remote communities who are at risk of, or are experiencing, mental health issues.
Read more about the partnership here, or visit the In A Good Place program page to learn more about the program’s guidelines.
Please note, all impact grants are initiated by CCI Giving, in consultation with the board of CCI, and are consistent with the values and strategic priorities of CCI Giving. There is no public application process for these grants.
